In this competition, there are 3 categories available, first is the Junior category, applicable for participants aged 12 and below. The second category is open to all Secondary School students and JC Students. The last category, the open category is open to everyone of all ages
Teams will get the set of challenges on 3rd June, 6 weeks before the start of the event. Participating teams will have 24 hours to complete a project that responds to at least one of the given challenge statements. Furthermore, teams are not allowed to submit a pre-existing application that was previously submitted for other Competitions.
Teams will be judged based on set criterias to determine the best solution, the judging criteria can be found below.
The best 3 teams will walk away with prizes as reward for their effort. Personally, I do not really care about the prizes, they are just encouragement for the effort we have put in, but rather I see this competition as a way for me to get to know more people and learn from others as well. The prizes will not amount to the experience and learning the competition provides.
